About Port Studio
Port Studio is a home for Figment Arts at Shoreham Port, where learning-disabled, autistic and neurodivergent artists and the wider community make art together.
What happens here
Port Studio is also your place; it's a place to work on your own creative practice through our Open Studio, to hire for a workshop or event, and to take part in exhibitions and sessions that are open to everyone.
The studio is for our neighbours, artists, groups and anyone curious to try something creative, alongside the learning-disabled, autistic and neurodivergent artists at the heart of Figment's work.

What matters to us
Port Studio's own values grow out of Figment Arts' — shaped for a physical space that's open to everyone who walks through the door.
- Open door. Anyone can come in, sit down and get involved — no experience needed, no explanation required.
- Made together. The studio takes its shape from the people who use it, not the other way round.
- Belonging. Everyone who visits is welcome, respected, and part of something.
- Access for all. We think about how the space and its sessions work so as many people as possible can take part, in their own way.
- Take your time. There's no pressure to perform or produce — people can work, rest, or just be here.

Life in the studio
